Domain transfer process
Once a price has been agreed. The first step is to agree on a transfer process to follow. There are two options:
- Immediate payment - the domain name will then be transfered to youacross at no extra cost
- Using an escrow service - If this option is selected then any escrow and transfer costs will be payable by the buyer. We recommend: Escrow Angel
The basic process is very straight forward:
- Payment must be made in full and verified.
- We will then transfer the domain across to you.
- Once the transfer has been completed and you have both, control of the domain name and are the new registered owner (via WHOIS lookup), payment will be released to us.
This is a simplified account and varies depending on the domain name type. For instance .au domain require a form to be filled in giving your eligability for the domain, our agreement to transfer ownership to you.
